🍽️ School Meals at Lenthall

At Lenthall Infant & Nursery School, we are proud to provide healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals for all of our children.

We provide a two-course meal, freshly prepared on site by Derbyshire Catering, which is served daily in our school hall. Lunchtimes are a positive and social part of the day, where children are supported to develop independence, try new foods, and enjoy eating together.

Provision is also made for children who wish to bring a packed lunch. We kindly ask that all packed lunches comply with our Healthy School Policy.

🚫 We are a NUT FREE school
✅ School meals are free of charge for pupils in Reception and KS1
🍽️ Information about the cost of nursery lunches can be found on our Nursery page on the school website

🥗 Our Lunch Menu

Our menu changes throughout the year to reflect seasonal produce:

🌼 Spring/Summer menu (after Easter)
🍂 Autumn/Winter menu (after Autumn half-term)

🥪 Packed Lunches

Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch from home. We ask that:

Lunches promote healthy, balanced choices
No nuts or nut-based products are included
Lunchboxes are clearly named

🍎 Special Dietary Requirements

Children who require a special diet due to medical needs (e.g. allergies or coeliac disease) can be catered for. However, this must be requested in advance to ensure the appropriate provision is in place.

In some cases, meals may need to be specially prepared for individual children.
